COVID-19 precautions to keep you smiling
At Griffith Family Dental, your safety and health is always our top priority. We take great care to ensure stringent safety and cleanliness precautions are in place. With current events and COVID-19 precautions at front-of-mind, we are taking extra steps to ensure you continue to have access to our care.
You will notice all our team members, including the front desk, wearing masks at all times– not just during treatment. This is a precautionary measure to protect our patients from respiratory droplets. Frequently contacted surfaces such as door handles, iPads, and the front desk are wiped after each use. Our treatment rooms are always thoroughly disinfected after each patient using “universal precautions” meaning we disinfect each room following protocols as if the previous occupant had an unknown pathogen. Tools are sterilized, masks changed, surfaces wiped, gowns disposed, coverings replaced and we are ready to provide a safe and clean environment for the next patient.
We have installed HEPA air filtration throughout the office as an extra layer of safety, as well as localized aerosol suction/filtration machines.

Dr. Amy is the 4th generation Griffith Sunnyvale dentist and has particular expertise in cosmetic and emergency treatment. For 30+ years, Dr. Paul has gone to numerous seminars, now along with Dr. Amy, and consults with different specialists to develop unique ways to treat those with fears, anxiety, highly complex needs, and special needs. Their goal is to gather a group of doctors who share the same passion and interests to take on challenges, better their skills, and help more patients.
In 2013, we had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Shuba Anantha to our office. Dr. Shuba practiced in Chicago for 10 years before moving to the Bay Area. Her breadth of expertise, calm nature, and creative problem solving have made her an incredible provider to our patients.
